Opening Night Reception

The next festival will open on Wednesday May 20, 2009 with our traditional Artist Welcome Reception followed by our opening night performance, which this year will be a concert by the Earplay Ensemble featuring the world premiere of a new commissioned work by cutting edge Greek composer, Nicolas Tzortzis.

The reception will take place at 6:00pm in the Green Room of the Veterans Building located at 401 Van Ness Avenue (@ McAllister).

You can also sign up to volunteer for the Festival; it's fun and a great way to see shows for free. We need a lot of people during the Festival and there are administrative and other tasks that we need help with throughout the year. To sign up as a SFIAF volunteer click here.
