Join the Festival on Wednesday November 11, as the organization unveils the line-up for SFIAF 2010 and throws a party to raise funds at Jelly's Night Club, located on the Embarcadero at Pier 50 (with plenty of free parking!). Meet some of the artists who will be participating in the Festival next year, dance to the wonderful music of Orqesta Borinquen led by Bill Ortega with a host of special guests including multi-Grammy nominee John Santos on Congas, John Calloway on flute and Wayne Wallace on trombone, Also enjoy performance art, good food and drink specials with the Festival's artists, staff and board members.
SFIAF 2010, the seventh annual festival, will take place from May 19-30 and will be headquartered at the scenic surrounds of the Fort Mason Center.
Since the first festival in 2003 SFIAF, in collaboration with 65 presenting partners, has successfully coordinated and presented over 100 performing arts ensembles representing 40 countries from four continents, as well as numerous visual arts exhibitions, films and residency activities.
