Colombian Aguardiente Cimarrón After Party with La Pelanga DJ Collective

9:30pm – 1:00am Gallery 308

Hosted by La Casa de los Sentidos. Dance into the night with La Palenga DJ Collective and toast the 2016 Festival with Colombia’s national drink.

La Pelanga DJ Collective formed in 2008 out of Cali, Colombia, and is now based in Oakland, California, building community around a vibrant, positive dance floor. The group’s repertoire ranges from the roots to the new sounds of every corner of Latinoamérica, Africa, and the Caribbean: including cumbia, dancehall, afrobeat, salsa dura, soukous, champeta, kompa, hip hop, coupé decalé, currulao, and much more.
