The Festival needs your help!
It takes up to three years to organize each Festival. We work with multiple artists and arts organizations from around the world to present innovative, collaborative performances and projects that push the boundaries of artistic excellence, with the focus on increasing human awareness, appreciation and understanding. Please support us by making a tax deductible online donation. It's safe, secure, and fast.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities with SFIAF. Each festival needs an average of 60-100 people to make sure all of the performances and events run smoothly. We need people to help with concessions, ushering, artist logistics, information services and general administration. For every four hours you volunteer, you will also be able to attend one show for free. As a volunteer you will also be able to, meet the artists and attend parties, receptions and social events.
SFIAF currently partners with San Francisco Pre-Trial Diversion, Inc. (Project 20), which allows people to work off parking tickets, etc. by volunteering at our festival.

Course Credit
We are also currently in the process of establishing course extra credits for students at San Francisco State University and the Academy of Arts in exchange for volunteering at SFIAF. If you think your professor might be amenable to having you be a part of this program, please email us!
