SF Intl. Arts Festival
For May 5 #GivingTuesday

This year’s Festival program had to be cancelled along with all other live performance events in California. This wreaked financial havoc and caused all other kinds of pandemonium. The silver lining is that, thanks to the leadership of local county health directors, the Bay Area responded well to the situation and (thus far) we have averted the worst of the infection crisis.

So we are doing our best to pick up the pieces and move forward as we plan for a post-COVID-19 world. To that end we have invited all of the artists who were scheduled to perform with us in 2020 to help celebrate the 2021 Festival instead. Please help us to cover production expenses (this supports all of the artists in the Festival) and the ever escalating cost of securing visas for the internationals.

The closure of this year’s Festival meant the loss of box office income that we typically use to underwrite our operations for the next cycle. Any contributions to support our kick-starting this effort are much appreciated.

The 2021 Festival is scheduled to take place at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture from May 27 – June 6. We hope you will be able to join us next year and we look forward to seeing you then.
