We Got The Power

Eric Kupers and the Wandering Ensemble take the fight to Trump and Project 2025 by proclaiming, We Got The Power as part of the No Kings Day rally organized by 50501 and Indivisible. The goal is to greet the No Kings marchers as they arrive from Market Street and to inspire the thousands who will be in the Plaza. All are welcome to participate regardless of abilities/disabilities, shapes, sizes, cultures, ancestries, body identities, neuro-types, art forms, modes of perception, and walks of life.

Eric Ray Kupers
Eric Kupers’ work lives at the intersections of inclusive dance, music, storytelling, community ritual, activism, and spiritual practice. He is a grateful visitor on the lands of the Yrgin/Chochenyo/Ohlone & Pomo peoples and his ancestors are Ashkenazi Jews that came to Turtle Island in the early 1900’s from Eastern Europe. He is also of the Walks-Between people, including Queer folks, Artists, Outsiders, Mystics, and Divergent people across time. A Professor at CSUEB and co-director of Dandelion Dancetheater, he creates with Dandelion, Bandelion, Mandolion, the CSUEB IIE, Ultrasonic Current, the Wandering Ensemble, and a diverse, intersecting web of artists.

The Wandering Ensemble (the Inclusive Interdisciplinary Ensemble)
The Wandering Ensemble sprouted in the wake of the COVID Pandemic to experiment with inclusive, creative, and sustainable ways of collaborating that responded directly to the massive changes rippling through our world. Directed by Eric Kupers, the ensemble is a fusion of Dandelion Dancetheater and the CSUEB Inclusive Interdisciplinary Ensemble. Committed to honoring the complexities of creating work by and for people of all abilities/disabilities, shapes, sizes, cultures, ancestries, body identities, neuro-types, art forms, modes of perception, and walks of life, they collaborate year-round, welcoming new members online or in person. The People vs. Project 2025 is a national organizing campaign designed to connect, amplify, and mobilize artists and cultural workers that are confronting — or are ready to confront — Project 2025, a coordinated authoritarian agenda threatening democracy, civil rights, and cultural freedom in the United States. No Kings
The No Kings protests, also known internationally as the No Dictators or No Tyrants protests, is a series of demonstrations that first took place on June 14, 2025 (labelled as No Kings Day by the participants) against Donald Trump's policies and actions during his second presidency. The protests took place on the same day as the U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Parade and Trump's 79th birthday. The world saw the power of the people. President Trump’s birthday parade was drowned out by protests in every state and across the globe. His attempt to turn June 14 into a coronation collapsed, and the story became the strength of a movement rising against his authoritarian power grabs.
