If We Only Knew: Betrothed, Betrayed, Bewildered, Blessed - 40 yearsIn “If We Only Knew,” Nancy Wang and Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo hang out all the dirty laundry that Asians aren’t supposed to talk about – the betrayals and recoveries, the bewilderment and the blessings that they have found on their 40-year journey together as artists, as activists, and as husband and wife! What people are saying about "If We Only Knew:" “It was a testimony to art, age, and adventure in marriage that you really shouldn’t miss!!! The music, song, dance, and movement only added to the background art and the important story of Nancy and Robert’s relationship. REALLY! DON’T MISS IT.”
Eth-Noh-TecSan Francisco-based artists Nancy Wang and Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo founded Eth-Noh-Tec in 1981, and over the past 40 years, they have contributed greatly to the Asian American performing arts scene. Eth-Noh-Tec fuses the ancient and the contemporary as they perform ancient Asian folktales and inspiring, true Asian American stories with their unique blending of stylized movement, music and the spoken word across the United States and around the world. Our mission is to heal the divides within us and between us through the stories of Asia and Asian America. We build cultural bridges that celebrate our humanity, embrace our differences and create compassionate communities through the performance of Asian and Asian American stories that reveal our universal truths.
