Circlesinging Event
MOTION is an acapella group who uses improvisation and sound to build community and promote healing. Brought together by Bobby McFerrin, they have developed the ability to spontaneously create music and soundscapes to bring people together through harmony and sound. They will lead Circlesongs and encourage everyone to bring a spirit of adventure, curiosity, trust, and joy. Let it free your voice.

Company History
In 2021, McFerrin asked David to bring together singers to play and improvise together. Tammi, Bryan, David and Destani have joined Bobby on stage, in the studio, creating songs in the moment, facilitating Circle singing, harmonizing and connecting their intuitive voices weekly for years as the band MOTION. They continue to perform and create vocal community space every Monday at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. Now MOTION alone brings you their own unique brand of improvisation and joy.
