The Leymusoom community will activate the Fort Mason Chapel as the site for its first public conversion ceremony. Founded in Berkeley in 2017 by artist Heesoo Kwon, Leymusoom is an autobiographical feminist religion that encourages followers to experience a metamorphosis by recontextualizing personal/familial histories through creating new, feminist rituals and collaboratively developing the movement’s utopian, digital world.
