In the Age of Heartbreak
In the Age of Heartbreak is an intimate, genre-blending live experience exploring love, loss, and the journey back to self. Presented as a dual performance by vocalist Ariel B. and pianist Lamar Green, the show weaves together original music, storytelling, and raw reflection.
Through a curated collection of original songs, Ariel invites audiences into the emotional landscape of heartbreak — not as an ending, but as a portal for transformation. The performance moves fluidly between live vocals and spoken moments, creating a deeply personal atmosphere that blurs the line between concert and confession.
At its core, the show examines the universal themes of connection, longing, grief, and self-reclamation. With Lamar Green’s expressive keyboard work grounding the experience, the performance unfolds like a conversation — tender, honest, and unfiltered.
Rather than dwelling in sorrow, In the Age of Heartbreak ultimately centers resilience. It is a meditation on what it means to feel deeply, to lose bravely, and to return home to oneself. Audiences can expect an evening that is soulful, reflective, and emotionally immersive — a space where vulnerability becomes power and healing becomes art.
