Musical Postcards will feature Pianist Tien Hsieh exploring works by Teresa Carreño (Venezuela), Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn (Germany), Manuel Ponce and Ricardo Castro (Mexico), Amy Beach (United States), contemporary composer Justin Levitt (United States), paired with timeless humanitarians Beethoven and Liszt.

Biographies

Tien Hsieh (Artist:pianist)
Currently residing in Folsom, California, Tien Hsieh has enjoyed a far-ranging career as recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician, with recital appearances in Germany, Italy, China, France, Hungary, Canada, England and throughout the U.S. Recent highlights include a Liszt recital tour, recital at the prestigious Salle Cortot in Paris and the successful release of recording, Bach and Beethoven: Mostly Transcriptions 2, which hit #1 Best Seller, twice, on Amazon.com.
