Chris Carlsson, long-time grassroots historian and guide to San Francisco's lost, forgotten and overlooked histories, takes participants on a walk around the old industrial sites of the North Mission. Pungent odors such as ammonia, baking bread, and roasting hops, once common, are now only memories.

Artist and local resident Carmela Gaspar leads this tour through streets and alleys of our neighborhood, narrating murals and sharing community lore as she goes. Carmela usually chooses to showcase the murals she loves the most, and as she narrates them you will see why.

OG Classic Mission Mural Walk - This is our original Mural Walk, led by muralist and Mission resident Patricia Rose. Patricia Rose has worked with Precita Eyes for more than 40 years, as a mural painter and as a tour guide to the neighborhood. The OG tour includes murals both old and new, and also shares information about the neighborhood and the artists who paint here.
