Information for International Artists

The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) will take place from May 1 - 11 in 2025.

We primarily present contemporary international performing artists who do not have US representation and who have never, or rarely, performed in the United States. We pay honorariums / stipends and per diems -- not commercial fees. We are looking to present solo artists and small ensembles (no more than five in the touring party) whose work speaks to the above theme.

We prioritize artists coming from countries that have travel subsidies to cover air fares and other logistical costs. We pay and apply for US non-immigrant work visas on behalf of international artists presenting their work at the Festival. Artists must be able to demonstrate a prolific history of international touring in order to qualify for US work visas.

Performing artists based outside of the United States interested in participating in the Festival in 2025 please send an email to [email protected] with the following information: your contact information, a low resolution promotional packet and a URL link to a full length version of the work proposed for the Festival.

The deadline to send information for consideration in the 2025 Festival is December 1, 2023.
