Horrible Ballet is a self-portrait and a solo performance, choreographed and performed by Rhea Speights. Rhea says of the work, "The world is on fire, and I am just pointing my toes. The movement patterns of ballet are so ingrained in my body that I cannot escape them. They trap me." Rhea considers the choices she's made that have brought her to this point, piecing together various memories, and tries to imagine what might come next.
