"Crawfish / We the Invisible" chronicles Cristofer Cruz's (Crawfish) journey from being a New Orleans homeowner pre-hurricane Katrina to eventually becoming a homeless resident of the Bay Area during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Gamal is a playwright, actor and songwriter, co-founder of Universes theater ensemble, and cofounder of The Breath Project which is a national initiative that support and advocate for BIPOC theater artist.
