Artists who have perfomed with SPEAKEASY include Corey Rosen, JP Frary, Michelle Jacques, Abdul Kenyatta, Cathy Zhao, Emily Nathan, Claire Hennessey, Kirk Pappas, Tony Aldarondo, Sereni Weerasekera, Kay Demartini and many more.

Speakeasy Storytellers Series
The Speakeasy Storyteller Series was founded in 2002 by poet and storyteller Abdul Kenyatta as a forum for storytellers celebrating the art and craft of story-making. The Speakeasy Storytellers promote and encourage participation in storytelling and storytellers in the Bay Area - in a supportive atmosphere. The performance at the Festival features a multi-generational and multi-cultural line up of storytellers and poets. The Speakeasy Storytellers provide workshops and performances in storytelling and community events.
